I just got my computer about 2 months ago. I'm having problems launching IE. Sometimes I'll get half of a IE screen, then get told the IE isn't responding. Or I'll get the hourglass and then nothing will help. Or if I have multiple tabs open, one of them will get "stuck". It'll just say connecting, but when I try to click on the tab, nothing happens.

Any suggestions as to what the problem might be would be greatly appreciated.

Running Win 7 Home Premium 64bit.

    To the OP,
In the last month, I have noticed this occurring more frequently with ie8. This feels eerily familiar to what happened with ie7 and Flash incompatibilities some time ago.

I've tried several things to no avail. This morning, I uninstalled flash and so far, so good.

I will reinstall flash again in a couple of days

    Use the flash uninstaller
    Uninstall Flash Player | Windows
