    Problems with install win xp sp1 non english version

    Hello :) i have problems with installing win xp sp1 spanish || polish version. A moment after starting of instalation screen goes to blue screen critical error. I dont have any problems with installing win xp sp1a & sp2 eng. All version i have from MSDNAA , as a student of computer science i have all version free :).
    Another question: What i need install to be able to use dell bottoms(mute volume+,volume-,play...)

    Edit :my system is e1405 but i had same problems at e1705 :)

    had anyone the same problem ? i talked to dell and they dont know what to do :(

    I've moved this to software since this is more of an XP problem than Dell. As far as the media keys, you shouldn't have to do anything. I assume you'll be using the standard drivers, and BIOS. The keys don't have a driver but I think they are tied into the BIOS somehow.

    On the blue screen, does it tell you what is causing the critical error?

    It standard error,it say that i need check hdd, drivers,nothing which could help :/

    edit:i think now that it's service pack error, windows xp sp1 dosent recognise sata, english version sp1 also :/

    that's sucks. I wish I knew what to tell you but I don't have much experience with non-english versions.

    Can you possibly get SP2 version disc?

    i cant install also win xp pro sp1 eng but version sp1a i can install :) I know now that problem is with service pack version no with language :) i need sata drivers to put at begining of windows installation(F6 buttom). Like i said i have many windows versions, but i would like to install my native language :)
