I download the new Firefox about 2 months ago and ever since then, anytime I log on to a forum it doesn't remember my user name nor my password, I keep having to log in manually.

I know I wasn't having this problem with the old Firefox I had before, so I have no idea what's wrong.

    Can someone help :)

    Thank you

Have you checked in the options?

Under privacy, make sure not to have selected "never remember history".

I made sure it said remember history under options in Privacy, but it still doesn't automatically log in when I go on a web page. So I don't know why it doesn't automatically log in when I go on a web page especially when I always check remember me for the majority of them.

I am not familiar with FF but with IE you have to keep the cookie(s) for the credentials to be stored . Hope this helps, J
