    Can anyone help please???

I am using a fairly new laptop that keeps on coming up with problems everytime i go on the net. It suddenly stops working and freezes!!! I then have to restart the browsing again (and wait until it happens again!!) Any ideas why this may be?? Is it because my laptop is using too much of its memory doing other stuff and cannot cope with internet browsing?? I have an advent 7113 Intel celeron m430 1.73ghz (1024DDRII RAM)

I don't think it would be doing that but can't guarantee...... You can always check how much CPU you are using my pressing cntrl + alt + delete and lookign at the bottom.

My first suggestion/question would be have you got a virus. Have you downloaded/torrented anything with it yet?

CPU says 100% usage sometimes but i've tried to disable certain programs to help speed it up but nothing has happened to improve it. I've got Norton 360 and have done all the checks and nothing has been found?

Oh right OK - you can chuck my Virus out of the Window.

There shouldn't be 100% usuage too much of the time (indicates problem - can now diagnose) and if there was that would explain the jamming up. How many processes have you got going?
