Hey everyone, I am running Vista Home Prem and getting some slower performance than I hoped. I have done the defrag, ccleaner, startupinspector,... I was just wondering if anyone knew of a good program that would find and disable services and process/startup trees? I am currently just using startup inspector and regmechanic for some lite help, but I was thinking something more robust would be best, as I have apx 88 running process and unkown amount of services running

theeldergeek.com is probably one of the best sites for looking up and understanding the services that can be disabled. Even though the site is for XP mostly, I used it to tweak my g/f's vista laptop with no problems at all.
