    Program or browser extension to force you to stay on a tab for X time

    Let's say you are on chrome

    You need to stay focused on just one tab and not open other tabs (let's say over the course of 45 minutes you will give in to the urge to open another tab)

    I've tried searching for something like this to force you on one tab for say 30 minutes at a time

    Some text searches I've tried on google are:
    - chrome extension force stay on tab
    - program prevent opening new tabs

    I don't mean stay focused or websites that block certain URL's. You for example may want to be on one youtube video but not explore the rest of youtube

    There's something that works even better than an extension: just don't open new tabs once you're on the video page that you want. No need for an extension for that...

    If you open a new tab, close it immediately, eventually you will get rid of the habit of opening more tabs and looking at them.
