My e1705 should be finished with the boxing process soon, and I was wondering if anyone has any useful programs installed on their notebook, they dont necessarily have to be specially for mobile pcs, just programs that they find useful. I just want to download everything and put it all on one CD for when it arrives, here's what I have so far.

    Ad-Aware Personal
    CC Cleaner
    TuneXP
    RegCleanerXP
    Zone Alarm
    WinRAR
    Driver Cleaner Pro
Azreus(torrent program, though I've gone to only downloading legal ones, stealing is still stealing, even if it's just information)
    FL Studio(Beat making program)
    Acoustica Mixcraft - Trial
    Half Life 2
    MobileForce drivers
(Norton Antivirus is also on it's way)

So, if you have any free programs you find useful, and you'd like to post the title, that would be rad. I can Google it to find the dl, and if anyone is in need of registry cleaners(RegCleanerXP), multi-purpose cleaners(CC Cleaner is great), archiving programs(WinRAR is excellent and pretty much free), XP tweaking(TuneXP), driver removal utilities(Driver Cleaner Pro), you can search for any of these on Google an you'll find the download pretty quick. I got most of those off of CNET. Programs relating to audio and music creation would be great, but any other useful programs would be rad as well. Any suggestions?

Dont install norton!!! It will undo all of your hard work and slow down your system again!!

Go for the: AVG free, ZoneAlarm, Spybot S&D, Ad-Aware defence combo.

    Propellerhead Reason > FLStudio
    utorrent > azareus
AVG Free/Windows Defender > Norton (especially in terms of speed)

i tried reason once, i couldent figure out how to use it compared FL studio, and i really like the interface on that one. i actually decided not to use a torrent program at all, theres enough free stough on the internet i dont need to steal :p but i might consider avg instead of norton. is it really that good? on top of being free?

I personally like NetVeda's SafetyNet for a firewall. I find it has less issues than ZoneAlarm.
