    Thank you for reading:

Is there a program that would allow me to have clients digitally sign (for example) a non-compete document, right on my IPAD?

Echosign has good security, and support. If you want a free software solution, and all the holes in the security they promote, then Google "digital sign software for mac".

You'll have to weigh the price of the software vs the potential of the non-compete not holding up in court.

I've only ever used Docusign, anytime I need to digitally sign something that's the system they use. I even bought my house using documents initially signed with it.

Adobe Acrobat will allow you to digitally sign something. Same like Echo, its not cheap. The security features of Echo are what make it expensive. Otherwise people will be able to extract your digital signature right out of your document.
