    What programs can do this other than CrystalCPUID?

    Need it to get my processor stable at 1.8GHz before I do a VID mod.

    i use rmclock for my undervolting needs. it is a bit more complicated than nhc though.

    But it only reduces the voltage, won't increase, but why would you want to do that?

    For notebook computers, reducing the core voltage will result in less excess heat, less fan, and consequently an improved battery life. This is assuming the laptop isn't overclocked though...
