    Hello everyone,
I listen to a radio show that I like through a live stream coming throught the internet (it is a feed from a radio station)
It opens in a small Windows Media Player Box and just plays
I sometimes miss the show and wish I had recorded it!
Is there a program that can take this feed and record it into an mp3 or wav?
I have lots of HDD space and really want to listen to this show
Is there anyway I can do this? (I would prefer it be FREE)
    Thanks In Advance,
    -TBird

You can start here. They're not all free, and I'll doubt you'll find one that will schedule a recording for free, but if any of them support a command line interface, you can schedule the command on the PC.

    BTW, Gary, is that you?

somebody linked to Audacity a few days ago. dunno if it can schedule to start recording, though I suppose you could always just record all day then chop out what you want to listen to.

A friend of mine used to use something that was really good... Gold something-or-other. I'll have to ask him.

    Thanks you guys for responding!
Noah: I looked at the link and it looked pretty neat...but do you know how to use it? (Could you tell me how?)

Everyone: Scheduling is NOT important...I just want to record from it I can start the program and the internet stream when I want to record

What this program must be able to do:
Record from an internet stream to my HDD (in .wav or .mp3 preferred)
    BE EASY TO USE!

    Thanks on Advance,
    -TBird

Total Recorder. $12. I've used it for years.
