I take pictures with my camera. I'd like to put them into something like a word doc and have them be easily printable in a single document, one after another one on top of another. I'm looking for free software to do this

Here are the problems I've run into

Google docs no longer supports importing multiple images at once through dragging

Open office doesn't support importing multiple images at once. I have a lot of images.

Wordpad which comes free with Microsoft doesn't support importing multiple images at once.

Onenote often rotates the images if you import multiple images and doesn't autoresize them to fit neatly into a 8.5 by 11 like pasting into word does. If you printed, you have no guarantee the images will scale/fit the way you want

    What's my best bet?

Worst case scenario would consider some kind of software that puts all the images into a pdf and scales them appropriately to fit on 8.5 by 11 paper and won't rotate them. Would even be willing to use some kind of collage software on windows 10 that just puts all the images on top of each other so I could annotate/scroll through all the images just by panning through a column of all the images. Opening the images now with say Microsoft windows 10 default photo viewer only allows you to see on iamges a time.

    I use a windows 10 laptop

I just tried Word and it allows selection of many photos and insert all of them.
