I've tried rocketdock and objectdock based on posts I've read on this site. While I prefer objectdock the one thing I do not like is that you can't drop files into a folder that is docked. I always have to open the folder first then drop the file I want into the open window. You also can't open a file by simply dragging it to a program on the dock (e.g. dragging an avi file to the VLC icon on the dock to open it).

Rocketdock does let you drag and drop however, it doesn't move the file to the dock folder location but rather copies it--leaving me with two files, which is actually worse.

I've tried looking for solutions for this but to no avail. To me this is the only thing keeping objectdock from being truly useful. Does anyone know if there is something (say a docklet) that will enable me to enable this typ of functionality? Thanks in advance.
