OK, so I borrowed an extra license of Windows 7 from my parents since it came in 64 bit flavor and now they want it back.
Since then, the 32 bit version I got for free with the laptop has been collecting dust. My question is:
Can you order a 64 bit disc from Microsoft that coincides with the same license?
Thanks!

You should be able to use your OEM key. You don't need to order the disk either...check out sticky on how to download a disk direct from Microsoft.

If the OEM key is 32-bit I don't see how you can simply use with a 64-bit installation without paying for an upgrade.

Windows keys are tied to the edition of Windows (i.e. Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate), not the version (x86 or x64). Therefore, assuming the OEM key isn't tied to a machine (or if it is that you're installing it on said machine it's tied to), you can always install any version of Windows so long as it's the right edition
As Greg said, you can just download an ISO from Microsoft directly and burn it to boot from. Here's the thread ^_^
