Okay, I've set up an incremental backup for my data partition...and I've also set that folder to be a backup location with a limit of 8 backups. What happens after I hit 8 backups?

Does it start deleting the older incremental backups, or does it merge the existing incremental backups with the last full backup?

How can I set it to create a new full backup after a certain amount of time? I cannot find that option under the Vista version, and I'd like to force Acronis to start with a fresh full backup every week or month.

Bump...anyone? I'm not finding the Acronic documentation to be useful, nor is Google turning up useful info.

You're probably better off posting that here:

    http://www.wilderssecurity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=65

and if you're backing up to an external drive, you might want to take a look at this thread:

    http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=165402

In my case I had to create a Reatogo-X-PE boot disc (similiar to BartPE) with ATI plug-in added, since the Linux drivers would not detect my two USB drives in a consistent manner.

For a full weekly/monthly backup, just schedule a task to be performed at the given time. It's on Chapter 8 in the guide.
