For a group project for one of my networking classes my group has to demonstrate redundant servers. A few days ago at a Microsoft event at my college, the speaker was talking about Hyper V management and how one could have multiple redundant virtual servers.

Looking up the requirements for it, the only real thing it needs is a 64 bit capable processor. Okay ... not a problem, I have two laptops that have 64 bit processors.

My main question - can hyper V work in a VIRTUALIZED computer? It would be much easier for the demonstration if we were to run it virtually on the laptop and then show the failover system.

Does anyone know if this will work? I tried checking on Microsoft's site but that didn't help too much.
