I'm about to purchase Office 07 in a few weeks and am wondering this:

After I install MS0-07 onto my notebook, it will validate that license. But what if later on down the road, I plan on reformatting/fresh-installing my notebook again? What will become of that validated license for Office 07? Will I have to re-activate it or is that license pretty much invalidated now?

You will have to re-activate and usually they allow you to do ~5 or 7 automatic online activations before you would have to call up and activate by talking with a customer service rep.

I installed a 6 month trial version of Office 2007 and then a few months later my hard drive died. When I got my new hard drive I installed Vista and got everything working again and then I installed Office 2007 with no problems and I had the full 6 months again. I was so surprised!

There's nothing surprising about it.......that is true with any trial version.....once you format and re-install you can use any trial version again !! It as good as you are installing the software on a different system
