    @Prema

    Seems like I had a very old version before which I was using just fine.

    I just noticed there is a new: NVFlash v5.278.0

    Now there are 2 files in that, nvflash.exe and nvflash64.exe

    Since I am on Windows 10 64-Bit, shall I only use the nvflash64.exe from now on since there is an x64 version now?

    Always use the nvflash that comes with the vBIOS. The version that comes with my mods is the 64bit version.

    Since you have UEFI bios I would use the UEFI bios to do the updating from within UEFI I found out this is the safest and best way to insure it goes correctly. I know I did it before and now will only do it UEFI update. I saved the Instant Flash onto a USB and unpacked it there and the UEFI did the scan and found and updated from there. That meant no other programs will interfere with the process. So for those with UEFI use UEFI instant flash that is by far in my case easier to do.

    I see I would first contact Nvidia support and ask them if the UEFI can't see the NVflash then you might need something from Nvidia to do the flash. But does your Nvidia chipset require this update?

    no I was just wondering. I prefer to stick to Prema's bundled nvflash personally. I trust everything that comes from this gentleman blindly.
