The problem is this: I need to reinstall Windows on my notebook. When I bought the notebook last summer, first thing I did was to create an image of drive [C] using Norton Ghost (9.0). Back then, I partitioned [C] to have 10 GB.

Recently, needing more space, I repartitioned [C] to have 14 GB. The question is: will I be able to use the drive image I made using NG? I mean, that's the image of a drive having 10GB, and I'm tryin' to restore it on a drive having 14 GB - would this be a problem?

    :nah:

    Thanks.

Did you make a full image or just partition c?

Either way, not a problem for ghost

    Nope.

Bought the notebook, with 60GB HDD.
    Partitioned 10GB + 50GB.
    "Ghosted" [C] (the 10GB one).
Couple of weeks ago, re-partitioned [C] to 14GB.
Now, wanting to restore the original image on a drive slightly changed in terms of capacity...

(All the partitioning done with Partition Magic)

So... should I expect any problems?

Just select recover to partition option in Ghost
