I've been reading about the omega drivers, and I've got a question:
Are they basicaly only useful if you want to overclock?
-
They do not overclock they come with a program called Radlinker that will allow you to over clock. The omega drivers are suppose to be simalar to current releases of ATI drivers but with a few tweaks that make them better in notebooks. I've used them and found no difference in any games or benchmarks. I played Doom 3 UT2004, and Far Cry. Everyone swears by them though, I just don't see any gains.

So they are a more "stream lined" version of the Catalyst drivers?
Thus will they work on laptop systems?
I've heard that you must install the drivers provided by you laptop manufactuer. I can't install ATI's drivers for my 9100, but I have to use Dell's. -
I've had no problems running any, HP's ATI Drivers, ATIs drivers, and OMEGA ATI drivers with my Radeon 9600 mobile
