    Hi,

I read some people who recommended installing the latest DirectX drivers, and so I did.

    Download details: DirectX End-User Runtime

After installing, I am not sure if I am imagining it, but my fans seem to be alittle more audible now. I do not remember noticing my fans much before the update, but it may just be my imagination....Its still pretty quiet when I am not doing anything GPU intensive like web surfing, but still I seem to notice it more?

Did anyone who installed the latest DirectX drivers notice this? Or can we confirm it's just my imagination.

I wanted to test it by doing a system restore to unstall the drivers, but system restore does not seem to work unintalling the drivers and gives an error...

It should be your wild imagination. Installing DirectX update increases the CPU usage, so the fan might have ramped up.
