    Hi...

Recently, I clean installed Win 7 on my new machine and I used the ABR tool to recover the registration keys from the OEM install of the new machine. I have this ABR info stored away. How many times can I use it to activate the OS? Are there any limits? Unlikely, but I just wanted to make sure.

My experience is with using ABR for Vista instead of 7, but I believe it should be exactly the same - as ABR is an entirely offline procedure, it should work as many times as you need, using the same backed-up activation from the same machine.

I've personally used ABR to restore the OEM activations in my various Thinkpads multiple times each with no problems!

Ditto, no limits to the number of times you can activate using the OEM SN and CERT info.

It would cause interesting problems if there could be any limits, since the tens of millions computers some manufacturers sell use same key and cert combination.
