I know it's almost bloatware free version of W10, but does it still need tools like MSMG or NTLite?

depends solely on yourself or what you would consider "bloat". one man's trash is another man's treasure ;)

Enterprise is not bloat free, it's just that you have the ability to disable most telemetry from the source within Group Policy Editor.

I just want a cleaner OS without the extra garbage that M$ put into it such as the ones listed below.

I thought that M$ did not include Cortana, Edge, and Metro apps in this version? And other garbage like Candy Crush, Minecraft, etc.

Yeah it allows you to really block telemetry from the group policy editor and has no built in apps and no app store so that could be a problem if you use the app store although there is a way to manually install it.

For example on my MSI laptop, I *need* the app store to install Nahimic which adds audio effects for my sound chipset, and to install the Synaptics Touchpad settings as it's now an app store utility and to install Age of Empires.

But if you do need the app store, why not just use Windows 10 Pro along with O&O ShutUp 10 and uninstall the Windows Store apps with CCleaner or any other tool. You see where I'm going to?

If you however have absolutely no need for the app store then it's by far the cleanest OS you can get out of the box. I have none of the garbage but the app store/telemetry in my Windows 10 Pro. You don't wanna remove telemetry using the MSMG Toolkit as that will break the Windows Store apps but I disabled Telemetry using O&O ShutUp10
    ==============================================================
    Windows 10 Redstone 5 Home/Pro De-bloated Edition [IMG]

After you install the OS, the first thing you need to do is head click on the Start Menu > Windows System > then right click on Command Prompt and choose Run as Administrator

    Then copy/paste the following command:

    Code:
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase
Then configure all your Windows settings/library location (ie. Documents, Music, Pics, etc) then install drivers and you're good to go

PS: This ISO has most of the Windows Store Apps removed, Windows Defender Removed, Microsoft Edge Removed, Cortana Removed, Windows Error Reporting Removed, Windows Customer Experience Improvement Program removed, etc. BUT Windows Telemetry was NOT removed as it will break the functionality of some Windows Store apps (unfortunately some drivers/system devices need their Windows Store app to function properly) BUT you can disable Telemetry using O&O ShutUp10 after installing Windows that will not break Windows Store apps.

Thanks brother. Now I know that I don't need to debloat this version of Windows 10. I just acquired a key for LTSB and will test it out.

No, W10 Enterprise is functionally identical to all other versions. The app store and all the built-in software that's part of a standard Pro install are there. The only exceptions are the game demos (Minecraft, Candy Crush, etc). While you can shut down telemetry from group policy editor, I still run O&O Shutup10 and Windows Privacy Dashboard for an extra layer of assurance.

So does that mean that I still need MSMG or NTLite to debloat this version of W10?

You can if you want. I use Revo Uninstaller to get rid of the built-in apps I don't want because there are a couple I actually use. O&O Shutup10 and Windows Privacy Dashboard take care of the rest (Cortana, et al).

Edit: OK, this is my bad. I have the vanilla version of Enterprise that comes with everything. You're asking about LTSB, which doesn't. Still, you may or may not need/want to use another application to strip it down even further.

I'm running LTSC 2019 on my laptop. No need to "debloat" it. All I did was use WinAero Tweaker to disable all telemetry and other small tweaks.

There's no cortana, no edge browser, no apps included. App store works fine though if you decide to add it in.

LTSC 2019 is the new version of LTSB 2016.

    LTSB 2015 > LTSB 2016 > LTSC 2019

    So it should work.

It probably still needs to strip down a bit further though? Especially the heavy Windows Defender still present in this version?

Just use winaero tweaker to disable defender. You’ll find many tweaks such as restoring the old school audio tray icon in winsero tweaker.

It can also disable telemetry for you.

Not sure but my Windows 10x64 Pro 1803 has no bloatware but then again I use the software OldNewExplorer and TweakUi to change it back and control what is loaded to make it back to W7 configuration and had no bloatware issue as I didn't see any bloatware in that install before using such software either. As to Defender bloatware then you forgot how Bloatware malware acting Norton has become. Defender in my usage is not a bloatware but far easier to control and use without problems.

I bought it from Reddit for $50.

Are you sure? Pro is probably the most bloated version of Windows 10. It's got Cortana, Metro Apps, Candy Crush, Minecraft, etc.

You can use NTLite and Wintoolkit to remove them and prevent installation in ISO. Do you want me to PM you my custom ISO for RS4 and RS5? Its smaller RS4 is around 4.5GB and RS5 is 3GB.

Not sure it is a "legit" method tho.
Anyway I might just use the upgrade method, which still works, to upgrade a Windows 8 Pro key I have instead...

Sorry. I don't think that I will ever come back to Home or Pro version of W10. Too much filth in those version that makes me wanna puke.

Legit method or not...it works for me. Anyway, I will report back again if revoked.

btw guys, if anyone is wondering how to acquire an LTSB(C) license key legally and on the cheap: ebay :p

LTSC 2019 goes for around 30 USD with LTSB 2016 going for like 5-10 USD. afaik u can just install LTSB 2016 and upgrade to LTSC 2019 :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the only way to legally obtain this version is through Microsoft And probably their affiliates.
While keys brought through eBay, reddit, etc. may be "legit" and working, I don't think that's entirely a "legal" way of obtaining them.

    @Mr. Fox

You're a previous user of LTSB and you upgraded to LTSC, did you just use your previous LTSB license key to upgrade to LTSC? Or it needs a whole new product key?

I used my LTSB key for LTSC. You do need a different key for non-LTSB version of Enterprise that has all of the same UWP app filth as Pro. You cannot use the same key for LTSB/LTSC as the fully bloated version of Enterprise.

    Yes, what Brother @Vasudev said.
Well, it's a tough job, but somebody has to do it. No need for that digital rubbish to even exist. Doing a "clean install" of that rancid filth it like taking a shower and never washing your private areas.

I feel next LTSC version will have UWP framework minus Cortana,Hololens etc... That's why I held off buying either Pro or LTSC from ebay for 5-20$. I'm fine with Home version and as long as wub and other tools work no point in paying for dead OS when I switch to Linux full time on all PCs and Win 10 will be used for only specific cases like MS Office, BIOS modding etc..

I also use some RegEdits to stop cortana and some other minor fixes and that is all it took to keep my system working the way I want not the way they want it. Just sounds like their making it harder then it really is especially when it's not pre-loaded.

A regular Enterprise key will not work with LTSB/LTSC. They require a different key.

That's what I thought. Enthousiast from MDL Told me that the Enterprise Key is just a license switch, meaning, you install Home or Pro and switch the license using the key.

100%. with Pro, many of the Group Policy rules don't work as they say Enterprise Only so Pro is not the real Pro we were used to in Windows 7 it's more like a teaser of what Pro should be.

I triple-boot Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows 10 Enterprise 1809 (Cancer UWP filth included), Windows 10 Enterprise 2019 LTSC.

I use the Cancer Edition to play Gears of War 4, and as a crash test dummy (all updates enabled and antivirus software installed).

This allows me to be extremely critical of the Redmond Retard filth based on experience rather than conceptually.

95% of the time I use Windows 7 unless I am running benchmarks that require Windows 10/DX12, (such as Time Spy and Night Raid) then I boot into LTSC for that. Windows 7 beats Windows 10 in just about every non-DX12 benchmark that exists except for Fire Strike.

Cinebench, wPrime, 3DMark Vantage, 3DMark 11, Sky Diver, Cloud Gate, Ice Storm, AIDA64 Memory Benchmark... you name it... Windows 7 wins them all and usually by a substantial margin.
