I am having no issues with the graphics drivers on my HP dv4040us even though they are a few releases old. Should I update them anyway, like the way I keep Windows up to date, or should I leave well enough alone?

    Thanks!

Probably won't hurt. Sometimes updates have unintended consequences.

I would definitely do a driver update - especially with an integrated GPU because the update could help it manage memory more efficently.
