    Question about windows 7 beta

    I have a question about windows 7 beta. I am planning to reformat my computer in a few days and I want to use windows 7. I downloaded this beta rc a long time ago (the one where it would last till june i think and than end). My question is I have this build apparently 7100.0.090421 and I am wondering if I do the updates in windows will it get the latest windows 7? Or should I try to download the newest windows 7 beta version? Also if I would be better off getting a new version (since maybe the one I have is not going to update) will the key that I have work with a newer build? Thanks in advance

    Nope! Beta and RC just don't become RTM via updates.

    :confused: Either you play with RC (or latest builds or whatever), or just get the RTM if you can.

    Thanks for the fast reply. Well thats going to suck to have windows 7 and no updates >.<. I really appreciate the fast response. As for the key will the key work with a newer build?

    The RC key should be good with all beta builds (my guess).
