I am fine tuning my hard drive and am wondering if I can delete the dell driver files.
They are:
c:\dell\drivers\all of them.
I believe they are just there for the initial installation but wanted to be sure as well.
Likewise, have an installation file for my fingerprint software which is the same... Can I safely delete these???
Piks below.
Yes....I know I know...we are always learning here!!!

Yes you can. They are just extracted driver folders that are kept there just in case you delete the downloaded zip drivers, too lazy to put in the driver cd or for whatever other reason.

Like weeeee said, it's okay to delete them, particularly for space conserving reasons.
What I did was that I backed them up on my external hard drive also. It's so neatly arranged in folders, so why not ? -
Got rid of them...an important deletion when you only have 32Gb to play with in your SSD. I have backups of all drivers anyway.
Looking for other ways now; I have reduced pagefile to 600/1200 and shut off restore. -
i wanted to know this too. thanks

Enjoy your reclaimed 20 megabytes (or whatever it is).
