I am currently awaiting my Inspiron E1505 in the mail. I bought it refurbished, and I am trying to figure out what the Windows CD will be, whether its an OEM or a Legit Windows CD... All that it says in my invoice is this:

    Module,Software,Windows Xp MCE05U,Digital Video Disk Drive,English,DAO

    Anyone got any idea?

You'll get an OEM CD. Dell never ships retail versions of XP. It's much, much cheaper to use OEM licenses. If you are curious check on newegg.
    This for example.

Don't worry though, you will be able to use it just like a regular XP cd--it's just tied to your specific computer. You are not allowed to use it on any other computer, even if you don't have it installed on the e1505.

hope this helps! Enjoy your new machine

    edit: Found this.

I think it will either be OEM or a 'Recovery' CD, however, my bro recently bought a Dell and all he got is a Recovery CD.
