    Hi all,

So my girlfriend, at my urging, applied for and just received her Win7 upgrade after having bought her notebook last year just prior to the Win7 release.

Our question is first whether her current version of Office (2007) will remain if we install the Win7 upgrade over her current installation of Vista and, if not, will her product key (for office '07) work again if we do a fresh install? I'm almost certain the product key will be fine if we install a new operating system on her notebook but she's asking whether I am 100% sure so here I am!

    Thanks in advance!

If you choose the upgrade path, the current installation of Office 2007 will remain unaffected.

If you choose the fresh install method, you'll just have to reactivate it when you reinstall it. Just make sure you have it copied down somewhere.

To go along with that, if you don't happen to have your code you can find it by using "System Information for Windows" ( http://www.gtopala.com/). Download the standalone English version and run it then go to "Licenses".
