I'm getting my new laptop today, but I'm still waiting on the shipment with the 2nd GB of RAM. Would benchmark programs be severely impacted if I ran them with only 1 GB as opposed to 2 GB?

    Thanks,
    night

Why not run them twice and see for yourself? More than likely, they won't be impacted much. But it's possible. No harm in running them.

...well, I'm waiting for the second DIMM of memory...won't be shipped for another week or so.
