Where is the RUN option in vista? Because I want to do the msconfig, I don't know if it's possible in vista tho. Also, how the hell do I get rid of that HP Registration window. I have already selected the Register Now option and filled all the blank spaces with my info and clicked the Finish button, but it doesn't seem to be working. It will still come up, even when I have selected the "Don't remind me anymore"option it will still come up. Thanks in advance...![]()
-
click the window icon
then type msconfig in the start search field. -
If you want to show run in the start menu, right click the start menu, select Properties -> Start Menu -> Customize -> checking the checkbox for 'Run Command'.

as was stated in vista you just start typing. its very fast and efficient to do things this way.

Or you can use short cut "windows button + R"

In vista, the quick menu search can act as run, just treat it as run, it will do the same thing, eg, msconfig - enter, or gpedit.msc - enter... you don't need to have "run" on your start menu anymore, if you still want it, as previously mentioned, you can have it by tick show "run" under properties.
