    Hi there

Does anyone know where I can find a forum that can offer some help with Photoshop CS2?

I'm trying to save a file but I've put layers into it and I want to preserve those layers so that I can go back to the file at a later date and amend the layers if necessary, currently when I save it the file ends up with just a single layer which is the background :(

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

why don“t you save the file as a Photoshop PSD or Adobe PDF ?
these formats save the layer structure and transparencies...

when you try to save that file as jpg, png,targa.... or some other fileformat that compresses the image data you will of course loose the layer structure.

To preserve all the layers, you have to save it as .psd like schoko stated.

Are you having this problem even when you saved it as .psd?

Buy PS for dummies. My friend learned that way, now he's better than me at it.

I learned the hard way by enduring hours and hours of agonizing mistakes.

You should also try the tutorial that comes with PS.
