    Quick buttons no longer work after new OS installation.

    I just finished a clean boot installation of a retail Vista Ultimate on an HP d9700 notebook on which Vista Home OEM had been previously installed. Now my volume slider & all other quick buttons no longer work. How can I get them to work again?
