I have a roommate that wont hesitate to hop on my computer because his sucks, and has no printer. Im totally not down with this, and would like to be able to lock up my computer just by clicking on something, instead of having to shut if off.

I just want to click a button that locks it up, and requires a password to get back on. I only have one username for XP, so hitting "switch user" doesnt work. Any programs or windows XP features that would let me do this?

to clarify... If you create a password for your username (start->control panel->user accounts->(account name)->choose password) when you switch user, you'll have to have a password to come back in. If that doesn't work because you only have one account, just create another one that's also password protected.. nobody says you have to use it!

I have a password set on my account, all I do is hit the Windows Key + L, and that gives you an instant lock.
