    does anybody have experience with vista sp2 is it worth upgrading any noticeable performance boost from vista sp1 or just a waste of time.

    I heard it was buggy.. I would just stick with SP1 for the time being..

    Some people have reported some performance gains, but I'd wait until the final release, since you have to uninstall the release candidate before installing the final service pack when it's released.

    SP2 is in the RC stage. So you can't count on it.

    sp2 is NOT in the rc stage. it is in escrow. big difference. rc means they are still coding. escrow means coding has stopped and only bug releases will be fixed. escrow plus maybe a couple bug fixes WILL be the final rtm

    I have installed it and it seems to bee a bit faster then SP1 espessely boot time has improved. :)
