Just a quick (and probably simple) question, how do I set it so that when I delete an item in outlook, it also deletes it directly aswell at my hotmail account. I've had a quick look through the options and can't find anything.

    Thanks.

You must use outlook connector for your hotmail:

Yup. Since Hotmail is POP3 and not IMAP, gotta use outlook connector.

It might be how hotmail works - at least all my emails seem to get collected...

What you can do is tell Outlook to leave a copy on the server, for a limited time, unlimited time... or not to leave a copy - maybe you have it set to leave a copy?

    I might have... not sure...

It's now gone from my system, justed caused me a massive headache. (Office 2010 beta). A new drive Q: appeared from nowhere, system restore failed to restore to any points, and uninstalling it was near on impossible. Read a few horror stories like mine on the web, looks like I'll just stick with windows mail. Thanks anyway guys.

Strange...works perfect for me since the Preview (except Excel Solver)... but I suppose different systems... but it does sound a tad strange...
