    Anybody use this?

I just got the trial of it the other day, and reviews are raving about the 2009 version and how great it is. I just kinda wanna toy with it so going to check out the trial.

I have more than once created spreadsheets and stuff to help manage my finances but its hard going back and forth trying to remember to add more data to my forms and small stuff like fiance charges often throw me off.

I read how this software pulls the transactions and data right out of your online account and can categorize it, graphic it, schedule a calender for you telling you when bills will be due. It sounds awesome!

    So thoughts, comments? Worth $50?

I have it and it meets my needs. Having said that, I'd be perfectly content using my Quicken 2006 had they not disabled the stock tracking feature after 3 years of use.

    gnucash is coming along nicely.

    www.gnucash.org

The current stable release is v2.2.9

I've been moving away from Quicken 2006 ever since I got that email about the stock price tracking. GnuCash picks that data up just fine.

I recently updated to Quicken 2009, but only because Quicken 2001 had some issues with UAC being turned on under Vista. Quicken 2001 wanted to save user data under \Program Files\ and Quicken 2009 is better behaved than that.
