This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Quicktime and firefox

    Well I have this annoying problem that whenever I open an mp3 file with in Fire Fox, it loads it in browser. There is only one problem. I have no control over the file, it will open in a new tab to a white screen and a black bar in it.

    Right click on the file the press opens with..That should solve the prob.

    EDIT: nvm, fixed it by disabling the quicktime plugin

    I suggest using Tools->Options in FF itself to associate the files to appropriate apps.
