I'm sure this has been asked about a thousand times.....

    My setup is:
    i7 860
    Asus P7P55D LE
    4gb g.skill ripjaws 1600
    4890 vapor-x
    2 x caviar black 500gb

Is there any way i can use raid 0 without installing the drivers via a floppy?
The drivers for raid are on the motherboard cd/dvd so can i copy them to a usb drive and do it that way? (i think xp only reads from a:drive)

You can use nLite to slipstream the drivers into the install disc. It's really pretty simple. Just download Nlite, it rips your install DVD, asks your the drivers you want to add to the disc, then you click the little option to make the new disc bootable and write it to an .iso. Then you just burn the .iso to a new disc, and re-install XP like you would normally, it will automatically detect the hardware with the drivers you added, no F6, no nothing!

On your motherboard, it probably has an option of emulating a usb flash storage device as a floppy drive. Then you can put the driver on the flash storage device and install it just like if you were using a flopping disk.
