I've noticed after checking the license expiration with
    Code:
    slmgr.vbs -xpr
it tells me that my system is permanently activated. Does the RC license not expire or something?

Also, is the Windows XP mode that was supposed to be in the Ultimate Edition?

EDIT: Ok, I found XP mode, but I need to figure out if my Aspire One has Intel Virtualization Technology technology.

wait i also have a question, what will happen to all BETA users of win7 when the commercial release arrives and BETA is pulled? Is win7 going to self-uninstall or is going to remain there as the in the case of this thread's OP?

Win will shut down bi-hourly starting March 2010, long past the release of the retail version and you will get plenty of warning to upgrade or downgrade.

Well the windows 7 RC licenses don't expire in that they will activate windows 7 RC permanently; however Microsoft has built a "time bomb" into the RC code so that it will cease to work at a particular date next year irregardless of what license key you have installed.

As for if your atom has Intel virtualization technology you can use securAble a neat little application by GRC. If you are still unsure look around in the bios and see if you see any options related to enabling virtualization.

Atoms doesn't have "virtualization technology" or intel hyperV or whatever it's called.
