This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     So I am going to try out the Clean Install advice given in this thread. on my no brand name custom build to avoid the reactivation error issue.

    But since I am slipstreaming a disc, I wanted to know first what should I do before I finalize the disc. Since the instructions in the thread state
    having stated that, on the unattended screen seen here in vLite: [​IMG] -- do I check any boxes? And I assume, I do not not put in the Product key... I want my disc to be on par with the instructions.

    I'd put the key in,,if you have a subscription to msdn they were given Vista with SP2 integrated by M$.
