    Hello all,
I`m having a problem when i undervolt my notebook everything goes well. I do the Orthos test and run it for 40 minutes to check the the cpu stability is fine. During the test RmClock shows that my CPU is running at 2.ghz which is normal since i have 7300 2.ghz duo. The problem is when i restart my computer my CPU speed never goes over 1.8. WHen i monitor the CPU it shows that the throttle is actually 2.00 ghz but the speed is only 1.8. Even when i run Orthos the processor speed will only go to 1.8. After this i put the volts back to the standard and it will still give me the same probelm. Anyone has an idea of what could be the problem??

NHC doesn't always work and so RMClock is what I've found to be the best for UVing.
I believe the problem for you 1.8GHz max speed is that you possibly don't have a multiplier checked. For example: (see if you can follow, I'm going from memory)
Go to profiles: check all multipliers you want to use and change/leave the voltages you want for each of them.
Go into the profiles, there should be a couple of options: power saver, max perf, perf on demand, etc. There there will be 4 boxes, the top left or right depending on whether you want to change the AC or battery settings. Then check whichever multipliers you want in those boxes so that it will use them (this is where I think your problem is). Then go back to the profiles page and select whichever profile for current and startup.

    Hello,
thanks a lot for the help! I dont think that`s the problem though. I just reinstalled RMClock and Undervolted. For now it is showing 2.00 ghz when the CPU runs at max. I`m going to restart and pray that this time it sticks and doesn`t underclock the CPU.

RMClock should work, is your Turion voltage locked? If it isn't and you're undervolted you should check your graphics to see whether that's causing the heat or whether you need to clean out your vents.

RMclock is wierd. I've had many problems with it trying to undervolt my AMDturion x2. The last thing that made me forget about RMclock is that when i undervolt, stress test for hours, nothing bad happens...but when i stop the stress test and the pc is idle, i get the blue screen!!!!!!! It just does't make sense and am tired of RMclock.
