I've been searching for a good RSS Reader, but most seem to be shareware..
Although I wouldn't mind paying for a good quality program..

I'd prefer one with a good a GUI  .

    Could you suggest a few?

    Thanks.

You can use Firefox, it has a built-in RSS-reader, and a pretty good one IMO. Though I have trouble getting it to work for Information Week, that's the only site I have experienced trouble with.

I've tried a lot of them. Here's my list, in order of my preference:
    1. Firefox with the Sage add-on
    2. The built-in RSS reader in Thunderbird
    3. RSSOwl
    4. SharpReader
    5. FeedReader
    6. Live Bookmarks in Firefox (with or without other add-ons)
    7. Google Reader

I just tried SharpReader (it has not been updated in over a year?) and updated my prior post accordingly.
