Do you use them? Which do you prefer and why? I'm looking for a calendar/organizer application and these seem to be the two most mentioned free ones. Rainlendar seems to be more popular, but the screenshots of Sunbird on their website make it look like it has more developed organizer features.

    Thanks,

    Mac

Try them both. I use Rainlendar because it displays the calendar and the to do & the events lists on the desktop (and are customizable).

Ive used both Rainlendar and Sunbird and out of those two, Id recommend Rainlendar. I really wanted Sunbird to be great since it can be incorporated into Thunderbird, but I think that its just not there yet. Rainlendar is customizable with skins, and while Sunbird has a few skins, Ive never gotten any of them to work if thats important to you.

Also, you have to decide if you want a desktop calendar(Rainlendar) or calendar program(Sunbird). I would agree with you that Sunbird is easier to get more in depth with your organizing though
