Hey guys I was wondering if someone could help me. I want to be able to see all of my system temps in the side bar, nothing more. I think you can use rainmeter to accomplish this? I've searched online but every link I found showed a very complicated desktop. All I need are the system temps. Could someone please explain to me how i would go about doing so? Also what is a good dock program to use to replace the start bar? Thanks for the help!

I think you want something like this:
System Temperature Monitor by ~Dirtdawg90 on deviantART
You can find a lot more meter themes on deviant, I just started using it and it is pretty complicated to do somethings. I hide my win taskbar w/ taskbar exterminator,however i'm trying to mimic honeycomb so my dock is just a transparent space filler.As seen here:

Do you know if there are any guides showing how to get the system temps?

So do i have to install speed fan before i install rainmeter or after? How do I use speed fan through rainmeter?

2.install rm
3.Dl theme
4.unzip file, place in Rm's theme folder(User\MyDocuments\Rainmeter)
5.open rainmeter and look in theme section
The theme was made to detect the temps through speedfan -
O ok thanks alot that really helps! Do you happen to know what theme it is?

Goto
Rainmeter->Menu->Configs-> System.Temp -
Thanks alot, I got it to work!

Think this program can be edited to work with quad core? It only shows 2 cores for me.
I have a nice widget that uses coretemp that I find a lot better than speedfan, but I like how rainmeter stuff is less in your face than widgets.
Then again my widget shows cpu load % and that is more important to me than temps anyways since my temps are always good and info I do not need, but cpu load is a very nice real time stat to have is something is using the cpu. -
What theme are you using?

For anyone interested, I use samurize and designed this last year for my desktop;

It's using speedfan and gpu-z for temps right now but I can easily modify it to use coretemp as well. Runs pretty like in the background, little to no hard disk usage and processing power.
If you like it and want help to create something similar, let me know.
