So lately my computers been randomly restarting for no apparent reason. It doesn't matter if I'm working on it or not. I've searched for every piece of spyware, virus, trojan, etc and found nothing. RAM is working fine as well, yet I still continue to get the "blue screen of death" on my laptop with this error code:

    ** stop: 0x0000007E (0xFFFFFFFFC0000005, 0x0000000000000000, 0xFFFFF88002FE09F8, 0FFFFF88002FE0250)

Can anyone please help me with this problem?

What was the writing in the BSOD? Eg: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, etc.

My first suspicion is bad RAM, if it happens all the time, whether you are using it or not.

Pretty much what everyone said above me.

You need to give us more information.

The whole BSOD error message, and the dump file and we will have an easier time helping.

    Btw, welcome to NBR.
