Hey, I was just wondering if I can do this:

Have a playlist of some 100-200 tunes. Can I make Winamp just play the first minute of each tune and then skip to the next one?

    Cheers! :D

And why on earth would you want to listen to *just* the first minute of the tunes???

    Anyway, check this > http://www.intellized.com/en/products.shtml

See if you are looking for something like this...

*And I remember, from *very long back* there was a plugin in Winamp site, that allowed to preview songs.. but don't remember the name neither am I able to search for it there.. Sorry, but give it a try!

Yes, but you'll need to install a plugin to do it. Don't bother buying Traylist, there are plenty of free plugins out there and it's likely that you will not be needing the extra features that TrayList offers.

A good free plugin is "Winamp Intro Play Plugin" it lets you play a specified number of seconds of the track and even offers the option of playing from a relative position (i.e, 10 seconds 33% through the song). You can download it from here:

    AIMP2 can do it.

I was a WinAmp user for about 9 years until I found AIMP2 this past summer. I dropped WinAmp and am strictly an AIMP2 user now.
