Isn't it released already? Or do you mean to automatic update or the public? Unless it was announced before, I doubt it.

It doesn't really when it's released, at midnight or if its released a few hours later. If the public beta release was any indication, servers are going to be down/really slow for many hours till people are finally able to download it...

"We are sorry, the page you requested cannot be found." :(

That brings up an internal search engine, the first link of which is the main Windows 7 site, which leads to the exact same error.

Ur welcome...all credit should go to Desktopreview, they notified the availability of the download, happens that I was there at the correct moment.

Mastershroom, yep...page has already been flooded, probably from the ppl at DesktopReview. Some here have already started the download though.

Im sure engadget notifying half the tech world didnt help. MS's servers could handle everyone currently on desktopreview with no issues. Its the other million people hammering at it thats gonna be an issue.

and yes i realized the possibility of sarcasm.

I've slowed down to about 40KB/s as well. Firefox estimates another 8 hours until completion. Ah well, it should be done before I wake up.

The speeds are just getting slower, and slower, and slower. Hopefully soon they stop allowing new downloads.
