Make sure the CD is not damaged/corrupted. Try to copy all the files on to the hard disk from another PC.

Make another copy of the OS cd on a CD-RW if possible, then try setup from the disk.

    Not a Sata HDD.

XP M.C.E. is a DVD not a CD.

How would I go about copying all the files onto the HDD from another PC??
    Would you please elaborate PhoenixFx??

    Thanks!

MCE doesn't work very well with the Dual Core does it?

I'm not PhoenixPX bit I do know that you can't do that as it would see it as a copyright infringement. Sorry mate.
