So I finally got my new HP HDX16t laptop, I didn't like the two partitions so I formatted it back into one partition. I want to re-install the custom software that comes with my laptop, like HP Total Care, HP Advisor, etc. But every time I use the backup's I made it re-partitions the the hard drive back in two partitions. So how can I re-install the software from either the backup disks or maybe in some other method without ending up with two partitions? Oh yeah I should also note that I am using a beta of Windows 7 Ultimate (Build 7077). Please and Thank You, in advance.

Why not go to the HP site and download/install the programs from there. Type in your notebook model and it will show all drivers, apps etc.

I know it was a recovery partition, but I didn't like it, but I made a backup of entire system before I formatted it, the Norton software and serials are somewhere on there. I just need find a way to access it is. Looks like I got back everything else from the HP site.
