Does anyone have a solution for the problem where hitting the apostrophe and backslash keys in Vista randomly produces an é
I thought it had been fixed in SP1, but this doesnt seem to be the case.

'\'\\''\'\\'\''\\\''''\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\''\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\\''\'\\'\''\'\'\\'''\'\'\'\'\'\'\''''\\\

`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\ me too
it seems you have a wrong language selected like fonduekid said . -
Just wondering, why you would need to do an apostrophe and then a backslash.

may be trying to find something new?
But seriously, OP, figured out anything, mate?? -
cheers ... -
I did manage to find something over Google.
In short, it's a Vista bug... When you have more than 1 keyboard layout installed Vista will randomly switch between them for no reason. -
I have the UK and US layout installed. No Bug. Does é belong to a different language ? (French ?)
EDIT: You're right. I have problems sometimes related to @ and ". Inter-changed. Link ? -
NVM, Disabled Ctrl+Shift

I'm kinda surprised that Microsoft still hasn't fixed the problem though, considering how Vista is nearly 2 years old now. I suppose I now have another reason to recommend that people keep using XP
Really annoying Vista problem
