I'm in need of some serious help here.

    Video playback issues. - YouTube

No player will play any video correctly on my laptop... Never was like this until I reformatted it a month ago.

I was going to upload this with Fraps or Bandicam, but all my codecs are jacked up.

Media Player Classic, VLC, DivX Player, Windows Media Player, Winamp, etc. All bad video playback.

Codecs I have: XviD, DivX, Shark007 Codecs.

I have the most recent release of ATI Mobility Catalyst drivers.

I would try an older version of your video driver first. What notebook and video card do you have?

DV6T-1300, it's a CTO laptop... So you can't pull up the specs since it's fully custom.

Really I did a search on HP and found that model and match? So what and where are you looking up your drivers and software when I could do search on hp site and find your exact model and software drivers? Take a look at this link.....from hp...it doesn't give a specs but did list the drivers????

Thanks, but I just reformatted my laptop a couple months ago and not really wanting to run that again...

As for the edit, I have the codecs above in my original post. Will this install interfere with those currently installed?

Well yeah, I have those installed. Thought you guys were trying to get other specs.

I don't know what was on your mind I when asked but knowing a more complete model specs would help other diagnosis and figure out what drivers and software you will need to fix the problem. Also a more complete model serial or part number or model number helps others doing research to find out what else to look for on your computer and fixes.

Thought you'd try and get RAM, GFX card, or something of the sort through my model number. Dunno lol.

I guess i'll just consider this a lost cause.

I would but not knowing your full laptop specs makes it hard to know if you had expanded to max capacity or changed components to get a higher performance or not. And knowing the model and make helps to figure what is your best options to max out the performance before having to upgrade and get a different laptop that would best fit your needs.
